The 5th ICERM 2023 is our effort to mobilize cooperation and dissemination of knowledge related to “water resources management for sustainable livelihood”. Also, this conference aims to develop the concept of water resources and their management by providing a communication platform where professionals and governments from all over the world can share their experience. This conference is an biennial agenda of the Department of Environmental Geography, Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) started in 2017. The conference themes in this year are:
(1) Implementation of integrated water resources management;
(2) Natural resources and disaster management;
(3) Livelihood and water resources management in urban area;
(4) Marine and coastal science and management;
(5) Environmental sciences and cimate cange;
(6) Water equity for sustainable development; and
(7) New urban agenda and sustainable urban development.
